New subscribers can try Mondstunde free for 7 days. Cancel before the week ends and you pay nothing. After that, the subscription renews automatically.

Subscriptions run through your Apple account. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mondstunde, or in the app: Settings → Manage subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

In the app, open Settings → Restore purchases. The stories themselves are stored only on the device where they were created.

With a subscription, up to 5 new stories per day (fair use). You can read and listen to finished stories as often as you like.

The AI voice costs us money per minute, so there is an allowance: 200 minutes with Family, 30 minutes with Basic, each per 4 weeks. Stories that were read aloud once are saved and cost no minutes when you listen again. You can see your balance in Settings.

Yes, once a story has been read aloud with the AI voice. New stories need an internet connection.

Yes. The story and the sleep sound keep playing and can be controlled from the lock screen. Only swiping the app away in the app switcher stops playback.

Every story is checked automatically before it is shown: no violence, nothing scary, nobody is mocked. If anything still seems off, please let us know.

You don't need an account. For a story we only send your child's first name, age and form of address, the options you chose and the names of other characters. Stories and audio stay on your device. Settings → Delete all data removes everything with one tap.
